Harley Davidson Museum

We recently took a short trip to Milwaukee WI. The trip was planned around the most kick ass show I’ve ever been to, PJ20. It was a celebration of Pearl Jams 20 years of music and was shared by thousands of hard core fans and over a dozen bands, including Queens of the Stone Age, Mudhoney, The Strokes and a surprise appearance by Chris Cornell for a Temple of the Dog music set. Thats an entire post in itself.

One of our stops while in the city was the $75 million, 130,000-square-foot Harley Davidson museum. The complex showcases the history, culture and engineering of an American icon. It was designed by Pentagram Architects’ James Biber with his team and associate Michael Zweck-Bronner. It was just oozing bad ass from the motorcycles themselves to all the great graphic design that has made Harley Davidson what it is today.
